On Monday, November 27, 2017, a Capital Public Radio broadcast reported that insurance denials in California have risen dramatically.
The CapRadio story revealed an extreme increase in the number of Californian’s who have had to fight back against insurance denials in recent years, “…the California Department of Managed Health Care found that the number of contested denials handled by the department has nearly tripled over the past five years.” The reality is that as more people have become insured, more people have been denied the medically necessary treatment they need.
