Attorney Nicolet Lyon

Nicolet Lyon is an experienced attorney who represents clients in employee benefits and insurance matters, with a particular focus on ERISA and disability claims. She is dedicated to helping individuals secure the benefits they are entitled to and guiding them through complex legal challenges with clarity and care.

Before joining Kantor & Kantor, Nicolet practiced in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, where she developed extensive experience handling long-term disability, short-term disability, life insurance, health insurance, and pension cases. In addition to her benefits work, she also has a strong background in estate planning and probate law, providing comprehensive counsel to individuals and families.

Nicolet earned her Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota. She is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Arizona.

Nicolet is committed to service and community engagement. She has volunteered with the Minnesota Women Lawyers Community Action & Advocacy Committee, the Minnesota State Bar Association’s “Wills for Heroes” program, and Cancer Legal Care, offering estate planning assistance to families affected by cancer.
